Molina slugs 2 home runs, Leads Hornets to Win
In a tight contest at Tim Raines Stadium, the Bethesda Hornets edged the Stroudsburg Shade by the score of 9-8. Bethesda designated hitter Francisco Molina, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. Reliever Zeke Barnes picked up the win. His record improves to 1-3. Liu-liang Ying took the loss. The Hornets now have a record of 56-56 with the win over Stroudsburg.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Molina. In the top of the eighth inning, when the Hornets were trailing 8-6, Molina delivered a two-out 3-run home run for Bethesda, giving his team the lead.

"What a game," said Molina. "We needed every last run."
