A nice crowd turned out to see the Chippewa River Chiefs and Boise Bloodhounds clash at Grand Canyon Valley Park.

The Chippewa River Chiefs topped the Boise Bloodhounds, 4-0, with shortstop Alex Bahena playing a big role. Bahena was 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles for the River Chiefs in the win. Chippewa has 3 straight wins, Boise 3 straight losses.

Bahena delivered in the top of the fourth inning for Chippewa. With the game tied and the bases empty, the shortstop hit a solo home run to right.
