Warriors Continue Skid Thanks to St.john, Saints
Saints Ballpark was the site for Lyman Bostock League action featuring the Winfield Warriors and St. Paul Saints.

The St. Paul Saints got production from their entire lineup in an easy 13-3 win over the Winfield Warriors. Player of the game honors went to left fielder Bill St.john. St.john was 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. This win makes it 5 in a row for St. Paul.

Roberto Marando contributed to the St. Paul win. The 20-year old catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the second. For the game, Marando was 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Winfield manager Eric Stone.
