Bums Suffer 4-1 Loss to Jedi Knights
|
Katsutaro Nishikawa never let the Bums get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Jedi Knights to a 4-1 win. New Orleans reliever Katsutaro Nishikawa got the win, raising his record to 5-5. Francisco Morales was tagged with the loss. New Orleans is now 63-40, Palm Beach 44-61.
Justin Jacks's at-bat in the top of the second inning was a big one for New Orleans. Coming to bat with one out, the bases loaded and New Orleans leading 1-0, the right fielder hit a sacrifice fly.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Jacks.
