Joe Coleman added some punch to the Eugene offense, helping them outmuscle the Kingwood Knights, 11-7. In the game, Coleman, who is tied for 10th in the AHL in hits with 102, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Eugene reliever Joaquín Salas picked up the win, upping his record to 8-5. Steve Vincent took the loss. The 'W' lifts Eugene's record to 42-58.

Luke Riviere's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning was a big one for Eugene. Coming to bat with no one out, the bases loaded and Eugene trailing 7-5, the third baseman hit a 2-run double.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Riviere told the Eugene Chronicle.
