Bush Wackers Win Another One
|
The Brisbane Bush Wackers did just enough to sneak past the Boise Bloodhounds, 4-3, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Brisbane pitcher Grant Huffman earned player of the game honors. Danny Posada, credited with the save, is now 20 for 21 in save opportunities. The winning continues for Brisbane, with the latest making it 7 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Brisbane, had it not been for Ian Cutter, the 20-year old shortstop . Cutter contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Brisbane up, 4-2.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Huffman.
