The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws eked out a 3-2 win versus the Victoria Vikings at The drakkar. Nobody did more than pitcher Mike Wolcott, who captured player of the game honors. Orlando Guzmán got credit for the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. With the win, West Virginia goes to 49-51, while the Vikings fall to 61-39.

Neither team could produce runs. So, Jesus Escamilla's at-bat in the top of the ninth was critical. With one out, the West Virginia right fielder hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 3-2 lead.

"I was a little disappointed," said Victoria manager Bernardo Moreno. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
