Albert Ramos made an early impact for Palm Beach when he stroked his 6th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Bums on top, 3-1.
Cole said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
Palm Beach goes to 43-56, St. Petersburg to 38-58.
