The Boise Bloodhounds eked out a 3-2 win versus the Nichols Gnats at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Francisco Valenzuela, who captured player of the game honors. Justin Bolling, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The current losing streak for Nichols has reached 4 games.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Jim LaCroix, hit a single. It helped Boise seize the win.
