Rhinos Topple Texans with Late Rally

Dan Edwards pitched well, but the Dallas Texans still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Rubber City Rhinos at Metroplex Park. Rubber City is now 37-22, 4½ games up in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Rubber City second baseman Tekkan Tanaka. In the top of the eighth inning, with one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Tanaka drew a walk to help Rubber City seize the win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Dallas manager Anastasio Ojeda.
