Though he had a great game, Ashis Mudigonda could not single-handedly produce a win for Cabo San Lucas. Maple won the game, 6-1. Mudigonda was named the player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Maple is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Alejandro Marés had a nice at-bat for the Marauders with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, the shortstop grounded out, driving in 1 run, which would prove important in the Maple win.
Marés attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
