Bloodhounds Squelch Vikings Offense in Shutout Win
Right-hander Dean Archer mesmerized the Victoria Vikings while leading the Boise Bloodhounds to a 4-0 victory. With the win over Victoria, the Bloodhounds improved to 24-69.

The Bloodhounds beat the Vikings in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Darrell Prince produced in the top of the third. Batting against Victoria pitcher Raúl Lugo, Prince gave his team a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.

"Nice to get this one," said Prince. "Wins have been hard to come by."
