The exploits of catcher Motonobu Yamasaki, who is tied for 5th in the TML in bases on balls with 35, helped the Maple Marauders defeat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 10-2. Yamasaki went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the win, the Marauders improved to 37-20.

Dante Deleón had a productive at-bat for the Marauders with no one out in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, the designated hitter hit a double. The at-bat was important in the Maple win.

"This is a very good team," said Deleón. "We have the chance to do something special."
