It was a fun time at The Reservation, where the Charleston Panthers and Chippewa River Chiefs tangled.
Chippewa River Chiefs starter Brad Ide was in fine form against the Charleston Panthers at The Reservation, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Earning his 4th save for Chippewa was Eddie Zuniga.
Adrián Ferreira contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped send Chippewa to the win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Ferreira told the Chippewa Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
Chippewa occupies second place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division at 49-37.
