Tree City rode a good effort from starter Bob Galloway to beat the Bethesda Hornets at Hornets Field. The final score was 7-2. After today's action, Tree City sits at 51-34, while Bethesda falls to 47-40.
Tree City took the lead in the top of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, Guo-ning Siu stroked a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Black Squirrels.
In comments to the Tree City Daily, Siu admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
