Vikings Take Nail-Biter Over Pelicans
Reggie Volkmann was instrumental in his team's 8-6 triumph over the St. Petersburg Pelicans. The left fielder went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Victoria Vikings. The first-place Vikings lifted their record to 55-28.

Victoria won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Jaiden Harris on the mound for St. Petersburg, center fielder Emory Drewry hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Vikings fans to their feet.

"This place was rockin'," said Volkmann.
