Saints Walk Off with Win
Tree City got a terrific performance from left fielder Dennis Perry, but it wasn't enough to beat the St. Paul Saints. St. Paul won the Saints Ballpark contest, 7-6. Perry was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Saints improve their record to 35-44 with the win over Tree City.

Bob Ward was the walk-off hero for St. Paul. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Saints right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Ward said.
