Craig Goes Wild, But Blue Claws Win
The inspired effort of West Virginia left fielder Jason Craig was not enough to prevent a 15-5 loss to the Baltimore Blue Claws. Craig was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Baltimore is now 51-28, West Virginia 38-45.

In the bottom of the 6th, shortstop Kaoru Katsumata gave Baltimore the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Blue Claws had been trailing 5-4, but the two-out single off West Virginia pitcher Pedro Morales changed that -- and Baltimore went on to win.

Katsumata told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
