Princes Roll to 8-2 Win Over Cyclones
|
Getting a good performance from right fielder Bruce Stewart, the Bel Air Princes defeated the Coney Island Cyclones, 8-2. Stewart went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch for the Princes. The Princes move to 30-48 with the win, while the Cyclones drop to 34-45.
With one out in the top of the fifth, Jonathan Weidlich stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 65th hit of the season and put Bel Air in front, 2-0.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Stewart told the Bel Air Bulletin.
