Coney Island Cyclones starter Julio Ochoa was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 3-2. Coney Island reliever Dave Cutlip picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Esteban Montes was collared with the loss. Coney Island occupies last place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division at 34-44.
This game went down to the wire. In the top of the 12th, Nick DeLuca had a big at-bat. With two out, the Coney Island third baseman reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, to put his team up, 3-2.
In postgame comments, DeLuca said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
