Dancin' Outlaws Clip Saints in Tight Contest

The Dancin' Outlaws had to overcome a good performance from St. Paul pitcher Satoshi Tani to claim a 4-3 win at Penlee Park. Tani went 7 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. West Virginia reliever Kenny Moran was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Satoshi Tani. West Virginia goes to 38-43, St. Paul to 33-43.
Joe Thorington had a big run-scoring double for the Dancin' Outlaws in the bottom of the sixth inning. With West Virginia trailing 3-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Satoshi Tani and stroked the double to center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dancin' Outlaws ahead, 3-2.
"Both teams played hard," said West Virginia manager Enrique Ramírez.
