Bloodhounds C LaCroix has 3 hit night in Win
The Boise Bloodhounds knocked off the Bel Air Princes, 6-2, at Philip Banks Field. Jim LaCroix, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Boise won. The catcher was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Jordan Garner in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ron Callaghan took the loss. Pat Meskill notched his 2nd save in 3 chances.

The Bloodhounds got a big boost from shortstop Manny Huizar who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning off Princes hurler Ron Callaghan. It was his 12th RBI of the season and put Boise on top, 3-2.

"Nice to get this one," said LaCroix. "Wins have been hard to come by."

Boise, now 21-57, holds 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division.
