Princes Fall to Bloodhounds, 3-0
|
In a tight battle between the Boise Bloodhounds and the Bel Air Princes, pitcher Roberto Duran was in the zone. The Boise right-hander was named the player of the game in Boise's 3-0 win. Pat Meskill got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Bloodhounds now own a record of 20-56.
Kevin McVey was 1 for 4 for Boise. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Ken Stein. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
"Roberto is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Boise manager Nick Brown.
