Victoria had no answer for Tree City Black Squirrels starter Bob Galloway, who flummoxed Vikings hitters as the Black Squirrels cruised to a 7-1 victory. Galloway, the winner, moves to 7-3. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. Tree City is now 46-31, while Victoria is 51-27.

Also making an impact was left fielder Dennis Perry, who drilled a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Black Squirrels. For the game, Perry was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
