Baltimore second baseman Jorge Luzuriaga was instrumental in his team's 5-2 win over the Barrow Frosties. Luzuriaga went 1-2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Blue Claws. Baltimore reliever Casey Violet picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Broderick Young shouldered the loss. Ramón Martínez earned the save for Baltimore, his 14th of the year.

Baltimore grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Luzuriaga hit a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season put the Blue Claws out in front, 3-2.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Baltimore manager Bernard Jacq.

The Blue Claws improved to 49-26.
