Fans who gathered at Philip Banks Field saw a good contest between the Barrow Frosties and Bel Air Princes.
The Frosties faced a stiff challenge from Bel Air pitcher Manuel Pena, but persevered to claim a win at Philip Banks Field. The final score was 6-4. Pena went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. With the win, the Frosties have a record of 49-26.
In the top of the 7th, pinch hitter Jim Unknown gave Barrow the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Frosties had been trailing 3-1, but the two-out home run off Bel Air pitcher Jose Arguinzoni changed that -- and Barrow went on to win.
In postgame remarks, Unknown said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
