Mullinger Stars in Sting Win
|
Houston left fielder Oliver Mullinger made his presence felt in the 7-4 Sting triumph over the Brisbane Bush Wackers. Mullinger was 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Cameron Sullivan got the save, the 6th for him this season. The Sting go to 36-39, putting them 4th in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division.
Harry May didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a grand slam home run to put Houston on top, 4-0.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," May told the Houston Today.
