Pitcher Dan Miscavage was sensational for the Baltimore Blue Claws in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Nichols Gnats. Miscavage received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. In 6.1 innings, Miscavage surrendered 1 hit, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Baltimore.
Baltimore designated hitter Tetsuro Fossum helped the Blue Claws to the win. In the top of the fourth inning, the 21-year old right fielder stroked a run-scoring double. For the game, Fossum went 3-4 with 3 doubles and a walk.
