The Eugene Emeralds and Stroudsburg Shade brought some excitement to Tim Raines Stadium.

The Stroudsburg Shade trumped the Eugene Emeralds, 13-5, at Tim Raines Stadium. Stroudsburg designated hitter Júlio Jiménez was named player of the game for his performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Stroudsburg reliever Haruhiko Amano was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Franklin Cadonau took the loss for Eugene.

Jesus Plana did his part for the Shade, producing a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, the first baseman went 1-5, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Jiménez told reporters after the game.

The Shade bumped their record to 35-33 with this latest triumph.
