Padilla Lifts Jedi Knights to 9-4 Triumph
|
New Orleans catcher Jonathan Padilla was instrumental in his team's 9-4 win over the Charleston Panthers. Padilla went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Jedi Knights. With the win over Charleston, the Jedi Knights improved to 40-29.
A decisive at-bat came in the bottom of the first inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Justin Jacks, drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, New Orleans, and helped them go on to win.
"It was a solid team effort," said Jacks after the game.
