The Boise Bloodhounds easily defeated the Chippewa River Chiefs, 12-3, at The Reservation, with second baseman Glenn Wilson a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Boise. The winner was Andres Morales in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Kazue Fujita took the loss. Even with the win, the Bloodhounds have a dismal 17-50 record.
In the top of the sixth inning, third baseman Kevin McVey came through big-time for the Bloodhounds. With Boise leading 3-1, he belted a grand slam home run.
"Nice to get this one," said Wilson. "Wins have been hard to come by."
