Mustangs Reel Off Another Win
|
San Angelo starter Marlo Freeman put a stranglehold on the New Orleans offense. The left-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Mustangs to a 6-1 win. Freeman got the win, improving to 5-4. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Freeman allowed 1 earned run. San Angelo has now won 6 games in a row.
The fans who came in support of the Mustangs were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Freeman after the game.
