Earthquakes Fall to Clark, Blazers
In a high-scoring contest between Bloomington and San Francisco, left fielder Sean Clark was a difference-maker. Clark, who is tied for 9th in the TML in bases on balls with 28, earned player of the game honors in the 9-8 Bloomington win. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Bloomington reliever Toyotomi Nakano picked up the win to move to 2-1. Kunihiko Mizuno suffered the loss. Coco Yamashita sewed up the save, his 12th.

Camden Mansel had the most critical at-bat for Bloomington. With one in the top of the ninth inning, Mansel hit a 1-1 fastball from Kunihiko Mizuno for a run-scoring single. It put Bloomington in front, 9-8.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Clark said.

Bloomington is 4th in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division with a record of 27-28.
