In a tight game between the Tree City Black Squirrels and the Bel Air Princes, pitcher Bob Galloway was terrific on the mound. The Tree City right-hander was named the player of the game in Tree City's 1-0 win. Cory Kieck was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 18 save opportunities. With the win, Tree City goes to 38-24, while the Princes fall to 20-39.
Mark Southland contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. It was one at-bat that helped send Tree City to the win.
"Both teams played hard," said Tree City manager James Lee.
