Dannemiller goes 4-for-5 as Knights Squeeze Past St. Paul
The Kingwood Knights beat the St. Paul Saints, 8-7 at Saints Ballpark, in part due to third baseman Paul Dannemiller, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Knights, at 26-34, sit in 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.

In the top of the 6th, shortstop Victor Davila gave Kingwood the lead when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Knights had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out triple off St. Paul pitcher Justin Beltrani changed that -- and Kingwood went on to win.
