Gnats Stick Warriors with 4-1 Loss
|
Victor Saenz never let the Warriors get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Gnats to a 4-1 win. Nichols now sits in last place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 14-47.
Making an impact for the home team was Oscar Abreu. In the bottom of the fourth, the 21-year old center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Gnats.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Saenz told the Nichols Daily News.
