Saints Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Coney Island
A 4-RBI performance from the 20-year old first baseman Matt Tullos helped the St. Paul Saints beat the Coney Island Cyclones, 7-3. John Benefield picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Sean Wheelock was tagged with the loss. St. Paul is in 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division with a record of 25-33.

Had Tullos not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Tullos hit a grand slam. The Saints never looked back after taking the 7-3 lead.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Tullos told the St. Paul Bulletin.
