St. Paul starter Gareth King put a stranglehold on the Chippewa offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Saints to a 5-0 win. Jose Barraza picked up the save, his 4th. At 23-32, the Saints are currently last in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.

T.J. Oster contributed an important at-bat in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped send St. Paul to the win.

"I felt we were ready to go," said St. Paul manager Ismael Rodríguez. "Our pregame was pretty good."
