Road Warriors Flatten Hornets, 11-1

Westside Road Warriors starter Emmanuel Even had all his pitches working at Hornets Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 11-1 Westside win over the Bethesda Hornets. Even, now 5-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 10, walking 0, and allowing no earned runs. With the win, Westside has a record of 36-21. Bethesda falls to 32-25.
In the top of the first inning, catcher Jeff Ayers came through big-time for the Road Warriors. With Westside leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
Bethesda manager Francisco Solano said his team was "out of sync."
