Tree City left-hander Jeff Spracklin was sensational in shutting out the Eugene Emeralds, 6-0. Spracklin, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. The Black Squirrels own a robust 36-21 mark.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the The Nut House crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
