Bush Wackers Get Past Barrow for 3-2 Win
|
The Barrow Frosties got a superb performance from pitcher Guglielmo Tomei, but the Brisbane Bush Wackers still won the game, 3-2. Tomei was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Brisbane is now 31-22.
Ian Cutter was the walk-off hero for Brisbane. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bush Wackers shortstop hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Cutter said in his postgame press conference.
