Loss Extends Boise Losing Streak
|
Frank Clark could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Boise Bloodhounds lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Winfield Warriors at The Barn. Winfield reliever Konrad Dortmans was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Frank Clark took the loss for Boise. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Boise.
Mariano Palmeiro was a key contributor to the win for the Warriors. In the bottom of the sixth with no one out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to center. He was 1-3.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Boise manager Nick Brown.
