Colón Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pelicans
The St. Petersburg Pelicans overcame a good performance by Brisbane third baseman Taylor Bastien to knock off Brisbane, 8-7, at Billy Mathews Field. Bastien went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The last-place Pelicans now have a win-loss record of 21-30.

St. Petersburg took a 8-7 lead on Diego Colón's 2nd hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Colón hit in the bottom of the 11th, left Brisbane pitcher Xavier Rivera shaking his head.

In postgame remarks, Colón simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
