Late Rally by Sting Secures Win
Despite a great performance by Eugene center fielder Joe Coleman, the Houston Sting defeated the Emeralds by the score of 7-5 at Prefontaine Park. Coleman was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Javier Martínez in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Cody Mason took the loss. Shih-k'ai Mi closed the door for Houston, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Jung-hyun Yoon contributed an important at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped send Houston to the win.

"Anytime we get it going, it puts a smile on my face," said Yoon.

Houston is now riding a 3-game win streak.
