Vikings right fielder Kyung-jin Yun put his stamp on his team's 6-2 win over the Bethesda Hornets. Yun went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Victoria in the contest. At 30-20, the Vikings find themselves in second place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division.

The Vikings got a lift from catcher Alejandro Sandoval who had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning off Gabriel Martínez. It was his 19th RBI of the season and put Victoria in front, 1-0.

"Glad to get this win," said Sandoval. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
