It was a good time at Baylor Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Kingwood Knights and Brisbane Bush Wackers get after it.
The Brisbane Bush Wackers picked up a win at Baylor Ballpark, knocking off the Kingwood Knights, 4-3. Starting pitcher Junji Terada, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. With the win, Brisbane goes to 27-21, while the Knights fall to 23-24.
Had Dan Thibodeau not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Thibodeau hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Bush Wackers.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett.
