|
Bel Air Princes starter Manuel Pena was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Winfield Warriors, 4-3. The winning pitcher was Pena, now 1-3. He tossed 5 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Shayne Cluff earned the save for Bel Air, his 5th.
John Farley put Bel Air in front, 4-2, when he hit a 3-run home run off Willard Stady in the top of the sixth. It was his 5th home run of the season.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Pena.
Even with the win, the Princes have a dismal 15-32 record.
