Victory Over Hornets Takes San Angelo to 29-16
|
The San Angelo Mustangs defeated the Bethesda Hornets, 6-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Boyd Adler, who went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The save was credited to Al Hrabosky Jr., his 13th. The first-place Mustangs have won 4 straight.
Adler had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the third for the Mustangs. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and San Angelo trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double.
