|
In a tight battle between the Baltimore Blue Claws and the Westside Road Warriors, pitcher Dan Miscavage was in the zone. The Baltimore right-hander was named the player of the game in Baltimore's 2-1 win. Baltimore goes to 30-16. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
Justin Nance had the critical at-bat for Baltimore. With no one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly. It gave Baltimore the 2-1 walk-off win.
"It was a test of wills," said Bernard Jacq, the Baltimore skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
