Bush Wackers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Bums
There was never a dull moment in this extra-length game between the Brisbane Bush Wackers and the Palm Beach Bums.

The Bush Wackers had to overcome a fine effort from Palm Beach pitcher Ernesto Trevino to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Envoys Ballpark. Trevino went 6.2 innings and allowed no earned runs. The winner was Fletcher Wilson in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jose Gonzalez took the loss.

Runs were hard to come by in this one. Ian Cutter's at-bat with one out in the top of the 17th, therefore, was critical. The Brisbane designated hitter hit a sacrifice fly, to put his team on top, 3-2.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett.

At 25-19, the Bush Wackers are currently second in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
